The Work-Ready Certificate is earned after completing just four classes: Employer-Focused Competency, Success: Land your Next Job, Utilizing NC Works, and Fundamental Company Assessments. After only 16 days, you will have a top-notch resume and cover letter, know how to pass the company test, have the interview skills you need to get hired, and understand how to work in a team. These essential skills will give you the edge you need to get the job.

Classes are free for students who are unemployed or underemployed. According to CCC’s Workforce Training Coordinator, Charles Christenbury, “The program works in conjunction with a student’s educational accomplishments and work history and shows them how to effectively package it and present it to an employer making a strong case for them to be chosen for the position.” The Work-Ready Certificate Program is a partnership of CCC, the Division of Workforce Solutions, and Cleveland NC Works.

Congratulations to Gail Carroll for earning the Work-Ready Certificate. She is pictured with Donnis Jamie of the Division of Workforce Solutions, a partner with CCC in the Work-Ready Certificate Program.
