(Shelby, NC) – Cleveland Community College will host a College Fair for area high school students on Thursday, September 18 in the Student Activities Center on the campus of CCC from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Along with Cleveland Community College, approximately 60 other colleges and universities will be represented.

According to CCC Admissions Coordinator Emily Arey, representatives from both public and private institutions will be on-hand to discuss all aspects of their schools with prospective students. The University of North Carolina, UNCC, Appalachian State University, North Carolina A&T, and Gardner-Webb University are just a few of the institutions that will be represented.

“The purpose of the College Fair is to offer students an opportunity to gather information on all of their college options at one location. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get information about transferring or enrolling at a four-year college or university,” Arey adds.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Student Services at 704-669-4081.
