(Shelby, NC) – Seventeen students in the Practical Nursing program were awarded pins during a special ceremony held recently at Cleveland Community College.
Following the processional by Michael Sisk, the new nurses were welcomed by CCC Vice President of Instruction and Student Development Dr. Shannon Kennedy. The invocation was given by student Karen Page. Students Christa McGinnis and Ninfa Jarillo introduced nursing faculty and guest speaker Charlotte Pettis. Discipline Coordinator Sherry Hamrick and Practical Nursing Instructor Anne Wise conducted the presentation of pins and led the practical nursing pledge.
