CCC TO HOST COLLEGE NIGHT

(Shelby, NC) – Cleveland Community College will host College Night for area high school students on Wednesday, September 4, in the Student Activities Center on the campus of CCC from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. Along with Cleveland Community College, approximately 60 other colleges and universities will be represented.

According to CCC Admissions Counselor Brinson Blanton, representatives from both public and private institutions will be on-hand to discuss all aspects of their schools with prospective students. The University of North Carolina, UNCC, Appalachian State University, North Carolina A&T, and Gardner-Webb University are just a few of the institutions that will be represented.

“The purpose of College Night is to offer students an opportunity to gather information on all of their college options at one location. One location is not only more convenient for students, but also the college representatives which increases participation from both groups,” Blanton adds.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Brinson Blanton at 704-669-4103.
