Cleveland Community College Fall Registration
(Shelby, NC) – Fall registration at Cleveland Community College will be held on Thursday, August 8, from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. in the Hunt Campus Center. The College offers Associate in Arts, Science, and Fine Arts degrees as well as certificates and diplomas in over 145 programs in a wide variety of fields including business, allied health, welding, machining, and automation. All of the College’s popular programs will be offered in the fall including the Associate in Applied Science degree in Entrepreneurship. Growing interest in this program prompted CCC to hold its first Entrepreneurship Expo in April and since that time there has been an increased interest in the entrepreneurship program. Dr. John Lattimore, dean of Business and Allied Health, says the College is working on developing a strategic approach for broader implementation of the program as entrepreneurship becomes more important in job creation.
CCC is also welcoming back students with a new Student Lounge that is located in the Jack Hunt Campus Center near the Campus Café and College Store. According to Dr. Andy Gardner, vice president of Student Services, “The Student Lounge will be a huge asset to our students who spend much of their day on campus. It is in a centralized campus location where they can relax, meet friends, and recharge their electronic devices.”
Prior to the August 8 registration day, students can apply and register online by visiting www.clevelandcc.edu or calling 704-669-4103. Students may sign up for placement testing by calling 704-669-4210.
